Skipped another week, but at least it's not two.
I'm still surfacing. I despise feeling overwhelmed and like I'm drowning, even when I do it to myself. Getting better, little by little. Someone pass the squeegee, would you?
I'm also sort of flailing on the Fox project. I'm reworking it a little, which is fine and dandy. And watching Fox shows drop off like flies. I actually *liked* Drive, and it was canceled after two episodes. So am I writing the right sort of thing for this network? (No, my show is nothing like Drive, but still, if that sort of thing appeals to me, you can understand why I worry, right?)
I will get it done. I'll turn it in and it'll be fab, but it's still nervous making.

I know exactly what you mean about taste and sucess. I often worry that my stuff will never sell because I like it.

Good luck with the fox deal. You can't please everyone, so just do the best you can do. I know I love your writing. . . so why wouldn't I love your show??? Unless the producers bung it up. . .and then, that's their fault, right?
I was so disappointed about Drive, too. It's just the kind of serialized, character-driven thing I love best.
As for hibernation, I'll just say you're in good company. I have *fierce* urges to just disappear often. Only where I've made a public commitment to support a team somewhere am I able to battle the urge to be a hermit ;-)
I haven't watched prime-time TV in over a year - but when your show comes on, Sara, I'll make an exception!
Good luck with the proposal!
I think there's a lot of that "being scarce" going around the blogosphere these days. I've been insanely busy since January, and it's only going to get worse when I go back to college later this month.
Good luck with your Fox proposal! Like Tessa, I don't watch network TV, either, but I would definitely make an exception for your show!
ugh, just hearing about your stress is stressful.
and maybe that would sound more sympathetic if I add
"You poor thing, living through it must be far worse"
oops.
dude! hey! SARRRRRAAAAAAA! come back.
Hang in there! We're out here rooting for you...
